tis the season
of laughter
and joy
it's not for all
something is
missing
it's not for all
shorter days
longer nights
time of sadness
others around
happy
bustling
presents to buy
gifts to give
it's not for all
sense of loss
clouds the view
why me
it's not for all
most wonderful time
of the year

a song
it's not for all
why not me

It is certainly that time of year where not everyone is part of the "festive" feel. It is more often a time of complete loneliness.

I often get in a down mood for the holidays as everyone strives for perfection for one or two days out of the year.
I wrote this after another blogger said she was reposting some stuff so her sadness didn't show up in her writing.
I understood.
